Scott Wilson is a freelance writer based in the Pacific Northwest. He earned a bachelor of arts in English from the University of Washington in 1999 and has a background in information technology. He lives on a sailboat and spends his summers cruising the Salish Sea, carefully staying out of the way of the many Coast Guard and Navy vessels stationed in the area. So far, he’s only been stopped once by a warship at gunpoint.
